Makes me happy

This craft room was on my list of rooms to "deep clean" yesterday. I have let it go for so long. It had so much dust in it...I was ashamed of myself! Oh well, that dust just proves how much I was living life!!!

The floor no longer has crap all over it in the corner....that makes me happy.

The antique sewing machine doesn't have crap all over it....that makes me happy.

But, most of all my sewing table where Betsy & I together make wonderful creations out of fabric. It doesn't have crap on it....it's so organized! The fabric basket is organized as well. That makes me happy.

So happy I sat down and made a quick cover for Betsy. She must be a dust magnet because it had so much dust on it ...and it's only been 2 weeks since I used it last. I didn't have enough elastic so I'll have to add that later. But it serves it's purpose for now keeping the dust off Betsy.

My cleaning came to a halt because these to beauties came for a visit. My niece, Elise & and baby Amaiya.
This little 2 week old chubby is a delight! She was awake the entire visit! She is very alert for her age.

Right in front of our eyes Amaiya rolled over from tummy to back....I kid you not! She is only 2 weeks old! I was blown away!

Peace Man!

Got to have a crying picture....mom walked outside and this is what I got! Awww....it didn't last long.

I have today to keep cleaning Meg's room so it's all good. Baby trumps cleaning anyday!
Makes me Happy!!

Great baby pics. Don't always count on an empty nest. My daughter returned home about 3 years ago and is still here. I'm not complaining cause I like her around and she cleans up after my lazy butt. :)

Aww what a cutie pie- and you got tons done in the craft room- go you.
Thanks for stopping by, yes we did have a blast. Forensics, huh? Did they wipe them out when they forgot their lines? ;)
Hehe- btw, I am not Nana I am his Gigi. Lucky little boy had both of his grandmothers this Halloween- he spent the day at my house getting hyped up on goodies while Kyra helped Holly (Nana) set up as they had some looting of the displays earlier in the week :( then we all went to Nana's where he got all that loot- which I might add was taken AFTER hundreds of trick-or-treators. ;) Not a total waste though as most of it is going to inmates where one of Holly's friends works- they will definintely appreciate the goodies. Even sweethounds Devon and Ian couldn't do that much damage... or at least Kyra and I wouldn't let them. :)

Ohh, what a cutie. She is adorable.

And, all I have to say is, "you suck" (wait 'til you see my post tomorrow). Glad YOU got stuff done this weekend.

Cracks me up that your sewing machine is named Betsy.

Do you love the movie Juno? I did. Love your song.

Wow...you had a very busy weekend! I myself just finished vacuuming the house for the first time in weeks (3!!!) Terrible, I know. I had to empty the canister 3 times! It was the first time I really felt "up" to the task. I usually am a bit of a neat freak as well!

The baby is so cute! And it is great that you have a little place to do your sewing. I have a basement where I store my machine, and have to drag it upstairs, and craft on our diningroom table. Not the most orderly--when we officially outgrow this house, I am definitly considering one with a "bonus" room!
